Conferences

One of the components of the research activity of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine is the organization and conducting of scientific-practical, scientific-technical conferences. Their goal is to support science, to establish creative contacts between students, adjuncts, postgraduates and young scientists, exchange scientific ideas and research results, stimulate interest in research and development, and identify the creative potential of youth. During the time of the existence of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, more than 50 conferences were held at its base. Every Year 5-10 conferences are held at NUCPU in the following areas:

"Technogenic and ecological safety"

"Fire Safety"

"Operative-rescue work"

"Extreme and Crisis Psychology"

Every year, during March-April, the department organizes and conducts the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Problems and Perspectives of Providing Civil Protection". From the moment of the first scientific conference of cadets, which took place on April 22, 1997, within the walls of our educational institution, it took a long time. During this period, significant changes have taken place in our professional life. The reflection of these changes was the theme of the conference, which covered issues of emergency management, organization of management of activities of civil protection units, fire extinguishing and rescue, rescue and special equipment, information technology and mathematical modeling, psychological support of civil protection, labor safety, environmental problems, communicative competence of a specialist in the system of civil protection.
The conference is traditionally attended by our colleagues from Belarus, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
