Scientist from NUCDU has won the Young Man of the Year 2019 regional competition

On September 25, at the hall of Kharkiv City Council, the winners of the city contest "Young Man of the Year 2019" were awarded. The ceremony was held by Deputy Mayor for Family, Youth and Sports Konstantin Loboychenko. Among the honorees - Deputy Head of the Research Center - Head of the department of the organization of the research work of the Research Center (National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine), Doctor of Science (Technical Sciences) Yugeniy Rybka. The scientist was thanked by the Kharkiv mayor for winning the city competition “Young man of the year” in the nomination “Scientific activity” and a certificate for receiving a cash prize of 5 thousand UAH.

This year the competition was held in ten nominations: "Students of General Secondary Education Institutions", "Students of Vocational Educational Institutions", "Students of Higher Education Institutions of III Levels of Accreditation", "Students (cadets) of institutions of higher education of III-IV levels accreditation "," Scientific activity "," Culture and art "," Physical education and sports "," Activity in the field of production, entrepreneurship "," Activity in the non-production sphere "and" Public activity ". Participants age is 14 to 35 years.

According to the results of the city stage of the competition, 10 winners and 20 prize-winners in each nomination were honored. At the initiative of Kharkiv Mayor Gennady Kernes, from 2018 winners and prize-winners will receive cash prizes in the amount of, respectively, 5 thousand and 3 thousand UAH.

"Young Man of the Year" competition was founded in 2001. For the 19 years of its existence about 6.5 thousand people have participated in it. The purpose of the competition is to support talented and talented youth, their achievements in various fields of scientific, industrial, social and cultural life.
