International trainers have conducted training in the provision of domedic assistance to victims of accidents involving the release of hazardous substances, work with the latest equipment of radiation, chemical and biological intelligence and laboratory identification, introduced new means of personal protection against aggressive environments and emergency management. Great interest was generated by the command-staff exercises on liquidation of the conditional emergency involving representatives of the State Emergency Service of the Dnipropetrovsk region, employees of the National Police, the National Guard, employees of various medical services and representatives of the Dnipro city administration. The exercises provided a lively discussion and identified problematic issues that should be addressed to improve the effectiveness of large-scale emergencies. The final stage of the conference was practical training with the involvement of forces and means of the SES, the National Police, Hospital named after Mechnikov and the International Red Cross. Rescuers practically worked out the issues of chemical intelligence, evacuation of victims, decontamination of victims and rescuers, as well as providing them with domestic care. It should be noted that most of the heads of the SES units that participated in the training are graduates of the NUCD of Ukraine, and they have demonstrated their professional skills with dignity, as evidenced by international instructors.
