Representatives of NUCDU became participants of trainings according to the CFBT method
On September 15-16, within the framework of the project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, "Regional Rescue Training Centers-Support of the Training System of Voluntary Fire Protection and Professional Rescue Service in Ukraine" on the basis of the Training Field of Lviv State University of Life Safety
was held the training for participants of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety named after the Heroes of Chernobyl NUCD of Ukraine, and Lviv State University of Life Safety.
The event was held on unique simulators, namely: a fire module, the conditions and temperature of which corresponds to a real fire in the room, and a gas simulator, which is used at gas stations in Ukraine. Representatives of the Department of fire tactics and rescue operations NUCDU Andriy Lisnyak, Dmytro Dubinin, Kostiantyn Ostapov, Serhii Shevchenko took part in the training.
The purpose of the training was to train new instructors, as within the framework of this project similar simulators will be provided to NUCD of Ukraine and other institutions of higher education of the SES of Ukraine.

Rector and Vice-Rector of NUCDU took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine.
Celebrations dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine took place on August, 24 near the Monument of Independence of Ukraine on Constitution Square. The event was attended by the leadership of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv Regional Council, Kharkiv City Council, as well as heads of law enforcement agencies and higher education institutions, representatives of executive authorities, local governments, the public and youth.

Celebrations dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine and the Day of Kharkiv took place on August, 23 in Kharkiv on Independence Square. The event was attended by the leadership of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv Regional Council, Kharkiv City Council, as well as heads of law enforcement agencies and higher education institutions, participants and veterans of ATO and OUF, representatives of executive authorities, local governments, the public and youth. Among those present were the Rector of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine Volodymyr Sadkovyi and Vice-Rector for staff Andriy Titarenko.
On the same day, at the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine were hosted a solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine and the Flag of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine in accordance with quarantine requirements.

The activity of NUCD of Ukraine in the Webometrics 2020 world ranking.
According to the results of the Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities published in July 2020, the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine took 72nd place among 317 higher education institutions in Ukraine.
This is the best indicator among law enforcement agencies. The ranking is based on several indicators, one of which is the university's place in the ranking of citations by profiles in Google Scholar.
As you know, the Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities is one of the most authoritative rankings among the world’s international rankings. It has existed for 18 years in a row. The Webometrics ranking is published twice a year (June-July and January-February) and covers about 25,000 universities around the world.
The main idea of the ranking is to assess the scientific, educational and social mission of universities indirectly through the indicators of the university's representation in the web space.
The results of the rating assess the university's presence on the Internet, the level of significance and openness of the university's publications in the scientific world and the level of citation of university scientists' publications according to the Google Scholar scientometric database and the Scopus database of scientific periodicals. The quality and weight of scientific and educational content posted on the web resources of a higher education institution is also assessed.
