Scientists of NUCDU and General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania signed an agreement on cooperation
On May 23-24, at the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, there were scientists from the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania. The Lithuanian delegation included Senior Psychologist Rosita Kanapeskayt and Senior Instructor of the Department of Military Research and Methodology Development Center Linas Dungvescis. During the visit, foreign colleagues got acquainted with the activities of the Center for the introduction of psychotraining technologies, modern scientific developments on the psychological training of rescuers to perform assignments in the center of emergency. Lithuanian scientists participated in a two-day training "Extreme psychological training of rescuers for assignments in emergency situations" and received certificates.
Within two days, representatives of the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania visited the material and technical, scientific and methodological base of the university. As the senior instructor of the Department of Military Research and the Methodology Development Center, Linas Dungvesquis, said: "Having visited NUCDU, we were convinced that the training of future rescuers was carried out at a high level, and we are planning future joint research and conferences." Foreign scholars remained enthusiastic about the functioning of the Center for the introduction of psychotraining technologies, because there isn't similar analogies in Lithuania.
The result of the visit of foreign colleagues was the adoption of an agreement between educational institutions on scientific cooperation.
NUCDU was pleased to meet students of the Lyceum of Civil Protection of the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
On May 26-28, to the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, arrived students from Lyceum of Civil Protection of the Lviv State University of Life Safety. During their visit, lyceum students got acquainted with the possibilities of the faculties, the conditions of studying in specialties, educational material and research laboratories of higher education institutions.
Rector of NUCDU, Volodymyr Sadkovyi and Vice-Rector for Educational & methodical work Oleg Nazarov met with potential entrants. Lyceum students visited the University Museum, read the glorious history of the institution of higher education. During the visit, guests of the NUCDU had a cultural program - excursions to the historical places of Kharkiv.
108 graduates of the correspondence course of the faculty of fire safety of NUCDU graduated from the higher education institution.
On May 24 at the Faculty of Fire Safety there was a graduation of higher education students of the correspondence course of NUCDU. 108 bachelors and masters received diplomas about higher education of the European standard, 16 of them with a honours degree.
Diplomas were given to the graduates by the vice-rector for scientific work Colonel of Civil Protection Service Volodymyr Andronov and the Head of the Faculty, Colonel of Civil Protection Service, Andriy Romin, who congratulated them on the successful completion of their studies and wished success in their further professional activities.
Volodymyr Sadkovyi: the most responsible moment has come for NUCDU graduates
On May 27, Rector of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General of the Civil Protection Service Volodymyr Sadkovyi met with the graduates of the educational institution.
This year 280 graduates of NUCDU - applicants of higher education, who studied at the "Bachelor" education level will receive their diplomas.
As noted by the Rector of the university, Volodymyr Sadkovyi, today's graduates are the most responsible and exciting moment in their lives. "All of you are aware, that you are faced with extremely complex tasks set by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. First, it will be difficult to self-assert. But the service and duty to the Motherland are above all else. The qualitative knowledge gained in the university will bring success in further professional activities. So, I wish you success and inspiration.
