On the basis of NUCDU foreign and ukrainian scientists discussed the problems of public administration in the field of civil protection
On May 17-18, on the basis of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine was held the international scientific-practical conference "Public Administration in the field of Civil Protection: Science, Education, Practice". More than 200 scientists from academic institutions of higher education from almost all regions of our country gathered in Kharkiv, as well as co-organizers of the conference - academics from the Baltic International Academy (Riga, Latvia), Akademia Pomorska (Slupsk, Poland), Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi, Georgia), New Bulgarian University (Sofia, Bulgaria).
On May 17, the grand opening of the conference took place. On May 18, the work of the scientific forum continued in the sections "State policy and management in education: content and mechanisms for implementation", "State policy and management in the field of national security: content and mechanisms for implementation", "State policy and management in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency Situations", "State policy and management of certain branches of economy and social-labor relations", "Theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of science development "Public administration and administration".
According to the results of the international scientific and practical conference "Public administration in the field of civil protection: science, education, practice" a resolution was adopted in which the participants of the scientific forum recommend: to discuss methodological and scientific workshops in higher education institutions - the conference participants to discuss the problem of creating and application of a single environment for the formation of educational standards for training specialists in the direction of Public Administration and Administration; to strengthen the scientific and practical connection between educational institutions - participants of the conference; to create the necessary conditions for the introduction in the management practice of a single information environment among educational institutions with the aim of timely exchange of information on problems of scientific content of the industry; systematically update and complement knowledge, involving international experience and work in grants programs, using international internships and participation in international conferences and symposiums.
On May, 5 at NUCDU cadets will develop skills in managing forces during the elimination of the consequences of emergencies of anthropogenic nature
On May 15, from 9.00 to 11.00 will be held comprehensive tactical and special training on the management of forces at the training ground of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine during the elimination of the consequences of an emergency situation of anthropogenic nature. The participants of exercises - scientific and pedagogical workers, graduate students of faculties and students of the magistracy department of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, representatives of the State Main Department of SES of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, the Operations and Rescue Service of Kharkiv, the Cynology detachment.
The purpose of the exercises - to work out fire and rescue units during the execution of assigned tasks, management during the elimination of the consequences of emergency (anthropogenic nature), as well as the procedure for attracting and using the University's regular units to eliminate the consequences of emergency.
During the comprehensive exercises, cadets, under the guidance of experienced scientific and pedagogical staff of higher education institution, will work on such training issues as the organization of the management of forces during the elimination of the consequences of emergency (anthropogenic nature), the extinguishing of fires and carrying out rescue operations during accidents on aviation transport, the organization of rescue works on the floors of buildings, fire extinguishing, liquidation of the consequences of emergency on water objects, as well as pyrotechnic and rescue operations works in a cell of chemical accidents and collapsed buildings.

Representative of NUCDU has conducted vocational guidance work among the directors and deputy directors of district employment centers of Kharkiv region
On May 8, Anatoly Kosse, associate professor of Department of Fire prevention in settlements of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine, conducted a vocational guidance work among the directors and deputy directors of district employment centers of Kharkiv region. Also, the heads of enterprises located in the districts of the region were present. In total, almost 30 managers became participants of the event. During meeting to the guests was provided information about the conditions of entry and study at NUCDU. At the end of the meeting were handed out the presentation leaflets.
Leadership and cadets of NUCDU participated in Events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation
On May 8, Rector of the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine Volodymyr Sadkovyi and Vice-Rector for Staff Vadim Popov, scientific and pedagogical workers, as well as the ceremonial formation of the educational institution, participated in events on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation that took place in Kharkiv. They took part in a ceremony of laying flowers and a solemn-mourning memorial service for all soldiers who lost their lives that took place on the holy place for everyone in Kharkiv - the Memorial of Glory.
Representatives and leaders of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv Region Council, Kharkiv City Council, veterans, participants in hostilities in Afghanistan and other hot spots of the planet, ATO participants, representatives of enterprises, organizations and agencies, the public, guests and residents of the city took part in the events.
In memory of all those who lost their lives during the Second World War, there was a three-time volley. To the memory of the dead was given a minute of silence. Metropolitan of Kharkiv and Bogodukhivsky Onufriy served a prayer service for all those who lost their lives during the Second World War.
